When it comes to a choice between trepidation and anticipation in regards to the mysterious appearance of 3IATLAS in our solar system, both have been voiced on the Internet.

I’m not a Mirriam-Webster dictionary, but I’d say trepidation is a form of nervousness, but could also have components of fear, or even dread. It could even cover the experience of trembling, at least if you’re in a situation where your knees start wobbling. But it does not necessarily mean that you are lacking courage.

On the other hand, anticipation suggests one may well be looking forward to some event (let’s say you’re about to go on your first date) which has all sorts of future possibilities that are potentially quite exciting.

The third option we have is to be objective – to observe without giving way to unwarranted and quite unnecessary emotions.

However, for its part, the International Asteroid Warning Network has sprung into action, because they perceive that 3IATLAS may be a threat.

Others believe the opposite – that it’s a craft housing long-lost “brothers” whose intentions are totally benevolent – and someone has even delved into the past, coming up with a very interesting image of a cave drawing.
