The word mnemonic is an adjective “relating to assisting or intended to assist the memory,” while the word potage, which strictly means to make a soup by boiling lots of vegetables, is used here as a metaphor, intended to have you imagine a stew of unrelated memes and images which, in combination, become a buffet whereon you’ll consider some to be palatable while others might not be to your taste.
