This PBS-Terra report about the West Coast “Big One” is a most timely mini-documentary.
While it primarily sees Portland Oregon being impacted, this applies to the entire West Coast.
Later on, they do get into the climate change issue, which, if you’ve done substantial research, you’ll know to be nonsense, but the very well presented visuals about not only the tsunami, but the after effects, are truly realistic.
Naturally, we hope this will not happen, but I have seen more than one recent source expressing concern that an earthquake involving the subduction zone offshore from Seattle and Portland could well occur this summer – which we’re in right now.
