It is rare that I embed or share videos such as this – but this one is special.
Gene Decode and Nino Rodriguez are both fighters – literally – and they have brought that spirit to the fore in their contributions to the platform of social media.
Gene Decode spent decades in the military, many of those years as a submariner. His specialty was coding and decoding – hence the nom deplume under which he reports, thereby masking his true identity.
Nino Rodriguez is a former boxing champion, and in watching him over the years, I have been deeply impressed by his insightful questions on behalf of his tens of thousands of subscribers.
This discussion covers a huge amount of territory, so for me it wasn’t a nonstop sitting. There was so much new information, at least for me, and I thought I knew a lot already, I did have to pause and take time out occasionally.
In fact, aside from embedding this interview at the moment (and please just skip the inevitable ads that these things start with) I am going to start from the beginning again myself.
Once upon a time I would have called BS on some of the subject matter, but now, I’m at the point where it’s logical to say “anything is now possible” in this topsy turvy world – because there is always more to the story.
So I treat information, especially new stuff, as not to be judged as right or wrong. It just goes into the neutral response basket, coded under three self-serving words:- wait and see.

Taking the time to learn and be informed is a form of shock proofing oneself when it comes to future events.
That, I believe, is one of the most important reasons why people such as these two (and me as well, I guess) do what they do.
We may not sleep much, and we may almost have an umbilical cord between us and our computers, but that’s our way of emgaging not just in this fight between Good and Evil, but also because this is a “service to others.”
In my case, that service is also predicated on the understanding that every subscriber or viewer was born with free will and freedom of choice – to choose what to accept and what to reject – or ignore completely.
It’s also a reality that while one can wish to be absolutely accurate and always presenting only “the truth” there are so many shades of both of those, that one should never pretend to be an oracle of any sort.
