Some years after that UFO experience in New Zealand where I was an independent freelance reporter looking for big bucks, having read about a woman (JZ Knight – no relation)_ “channeling” someone called “Ramtha” in America – and that Lynda Evans, a big star of the time was also involved, I decided to pay my way to an event at JZ Knight’s ranch in the USA. My plan was to either prove it all to be a fraud and sell the article internationally. OR…alternatively I just might get answers to some of my “soul” questions about “god” and Life. After my then-partner and I returned to the arena after lunch, JZ/Ramtha looked directly in our direction, and repeated, word for word, something I had said over lunch in the privacy of our hired RV. I decided immediately that this was no fraud and subsequently chose to migrate to attend and learn at following events. It’s a personal thing, and despite the school (now known as the Ramtha School of Enlightenment) being called a “cult” by mainstream media, I personally believed that you have to go there to know there. …and see for myself if it was for real, or not. It is not my place to proselytize – I’ll leave that to the religious people – they are as entitled as I am to their own chosen path. Suffice to say I recently came across a documentary about a major storm offshore from New Zealand (1994) in which the husband and wife in a yacht named “Ramtha” were rescued by a NZ Navy ship after a strange light that lit up the storm miraculously and subsequently the ship made contact and came to their rescue. Their abandoned yacht was later recovered, fully intact, despite one of the worst storms in memory. I plan to include a short report on that in a future blog article.
